Chrome updates impacting Sage 300 sign in

Problem Details:


Sage CRM 2020 R2 is integrated with Sage 300 ERP 2021 (with PU2).

Sage 300 2021 PU2 CRM Integration has been installed and synchronizes tables successfully. The issue is that the Sage 300 web screen login appears whenever you create a new quote or access the customer tab on a company.

Solution or workaround

Chrome has done some changes with the recent update, so we are starting to see these issues. Seems to be related to how it is storing cookies.

Can you  do the following:

  1. Open CRM
  2. Open Sage 300 web screens, then log in. ( Sage 300 Web screens on another tab of Chrome)
  3. Go back to CRM and then try a new quote.

The issue does not occur in Firefox, so it definitely appears to be the Chrome update. The best practice here is to move to SSL as it is going to be the norm going forward.
