At the moment, there appears to be no way to archive old clients so they are excluded from the client list in Personal Tax. The only way around this is to take a backup, and then delete clients. Once the software has been updated to a later version, there is no way to restore an old backup unless a standalone version of the software is maintained separately to the server install.

Knowledge Base article 23401 states there is no way to move clients between datasets in Taxation, even though multiple datasets can be created. Can this feature be implemented?
