Preserving settings during SAPA updates

We have noticed during the last few updates that several ROP settings have changed as a result of the update. This update is installed by our IT department, and we do not get involved in the actual installation. Is there a way to preserve the ROPS - particularly, we are noticing that the accountants report is having to be reinstated and certain presentation ROPs are being changed.

    Thank you for your query.

    When updating SAPA, you will more than likely find that ROP settings will be set  back to default. The reason why this can happen is because a new update may contain newly introduced ROP settings or some ROP settings may be removed. We then have to re apply the master in order to ensure these changes pull through.

    Thank you for your feedback. This will be viewed by developers of the software so hopefully this can be looked into as a development improvement for future releases.
