Sage cloud payroll will not auto update Peoples Pension

Sage 50 payroll used to automatically create MA and CO files that loaded straight into the Peoples Pension website. Cloud payroll does not produce these files and only produces PAPDIS files.

This means I have to manually extract the data from the PAPDIS file and create my own file to put into the pension website. 

I have been told that you looking into this but nothing has happened for over 6 months.

    Apologies for any issues regarding submitting the pension files, at the present time the only file available for the Peoples pension is the PAPDIS file, we have fed this back to our team previously but cannot provide a timeframe for the implementation of further formats for this particular pension type.

  • Same here I was told a year ago this would be looked at and still nothing. This should be explained at the buying stage as this makes the whole Sage package unfit for purpose when using The Peoples Pension. 

  • I have the same problem. I moved from Sage 50 to the cloud payroll and I have also been told that the automatic contributions file and management files, that were automatic in Sage 50 would be updated to Sage cloud. It has not happened yet. Again this is over a year. The Peoples Pension have told me it is totally Sage's fault and I agree it makes the pension date submissions a real bind. Maternity pay is also not automatic like it was in Sage 50.

    I have been asked by friends and colleagues if I would recommend Sage cloud payroll and I have told them 100% NO
