New to sage and payroll

Hi Im new to Sage and covering the payroll as the normal person is off sick.

last month there was a new starter admitted using a P46 but now I have their P45 - do I go onto sage and enter the year to date figures on sage from the P45 even though they were previously enter as P46.

Hello,

Thanks for using Sage City.

Yes, if you now have their p45 you can go in and edit the employee record and edit this to enter the details and year to date figures from the p45. This will then recalculate when you run the next pay run.
