Hi, I wonder if any one can help. All my employees are opted out of our auto enrolment pension with Smart Pensions and will be opting out again once re-enroled. I set the re-enrolment date as 1st August and on my account with Smart Pensions I can't reassess employees until that date. However, I entered the date into Sage One Payroll and it has deducted pension contributions for our July pay run even though employees haven't yet been re-enrolled.
I didn't notice until I'd already run the payroll and sent the FPS to HMRC.
Why has this happened and how can I correct it?
