Hi just setting up sage payroll for the first time. In the employee section under Employment ID I have entered YES (as I have confirmed ID) it will not accept this and will not allow me to edit. Should this just be a number ie 1 ? And if so how do I edit and confirm. thanks

Hi Susan,

The employment ID is a new field introduced as part of Payroll modernisation in the 2019 tax year. it needs to be a number, with Payroll automatically assigning the number 1.
