why do I get the message grant authority for this software to interact with HMRC when I am submitting my return? I am MTD enabled - this has happened previously but cant remember how it was resolved.

Trying to submit return for the first time using MTD but I keep getting a blank log in screen, have changed browser and also renamed the 'Launchpadsettings.xml file it says to do on the help page.
Any ideas what the problem is??
