Thanks for using Sage City.

Up until 08/04/2021 it was possible to submit VAT returns using XML submissions to HMRC, however most of our customers were using the new API connection via "Making Tax Digital" this is the new option HRC now require businesses to use for electronic VAT submissions.

It is also still possible to submit your VAT return manually by logging in to the Gov. Gateway.
