Download Customer invoice error not loading

SOLVED

Good evening  Has anyone else encountered problems downloading a customer invoice after savingI usually press the download option to save to my PC there isan error message failed to download anysuggestions as to why and solutions?

    I do not have an answer but I wonder if it is the same issue I am having printing...

    Has anyone had this issue when trying to print invoices
    "Adobe Acrobat couldn't open SI-3361 .pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged "

    Yesterday I printed a dozen invoice no issue. today the 1st one was ok. The 2nd did this - I voided it and re did it and it was OK and the next one did it again. I cannot void and reissue every other invoice.My internet connection is slow but it was yesterday as well.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Wendy I tried edit to bring back the invoice and then save again that worked once but the next invoice the same PDF issue I think it may have something to do with Adobe   I'm going to call the help desk tomorrow when open !!  As like you I dont wish to go througha long process just to save the PDF of an invoice !

    Hi ,

    Thank you for using Sage City Cityscape.

    I have just verified that there was an issue with PDF document creation overnight, but the good news is that the problem was fixed not long after it was discovered. I've reached out to our incident management team who advised the problem was reported at around 8pm and was resolved by 9pm.

    Our Technical Support Team have advised that invoices created during the period when the PDF engine was not working properly may still present an error when opened, so to correct this just click Edit on the invoice, make a change and then save the invoice again. You can repeat the process to undo the changes but you must make a change and save the invoice to have the application generate a new PDF for the invoice. 

    So sorry for the trouble! Do let me know if you need any further support.

    Hi Anth I'm glad it was spotted I did manage to produce a PDF from the Sales invoice  list and everythign owrked fine this morning
