    Hi Andy,

Unfortunately you can't amend the VAT rates within Accounting. They are preset as Standard, Lower Rated, Zero, Exempt and No VAT.

You can however manually change the VAT that is calculated when raising invoices. Just click into the VAT box and amend the amount of VAT to show to the amount you need.

If this has answered your question please click More > Verify Answer.

    Thank you,

Hi, I hope you don't mind me asking via your question/answer but

What VAT rate should we use for non-VAT registered suppliers of goods/services where the supply would be if the standard if they were over the threshold?

If I follow the Sage VAT rate guide, it says to use Zero rated or Exempt.

    Many thanks.
