Stripe integration

We are new to using Sage and we would like to use Stripe.

However we have payments that will come through Stripe from invoices and separately from a membership system.

Sage says to open two Stripe accounts in this instance.

However I am not sure how to integrated the account that will receive the non-invoice payments.

If I open it as a bank account there does not seem to be any way of importing Stripe transactions.

Stripe only has IIF downloads as far as I can see.

Am I missing something obvious.

If possible I would rather use one Stripe account.

    Hi Steven,

    Unfortunately the Stripe integration only supports the card payments against invoices. The non-invoice payments side is not supported here. If you are looking to use both aspects, I would highly recommend moving to Sage Pay.

    Thanks for the reply.

    We have set up Stripe as the payment provider for our invoices but I am unclear what would happen in Sage if a payment was received in the linked Stripe account that was not generated by an invoice.

    Is there any documentation that explains this?

    Although we have set up a second Stripe account for non invoice sales I am still puzzled about how to use Stripe as a bank account in Sage.

    Is there a way of importing transactions from Stripe as there is with other banks?

    By the way we would love to use Sage Pay but our membership software does not support it at the moment.

    Hi Steven,

    Unfortunately those transactions will not show within your Stripe account on Sage. As this side is not supported, they will not appear in Accounting. We wouldn't have any documentation on this either. The only articles we have are in relation to the Card Payments feature that is supported -

    Also there isn't an option to import in transactions using a file in the Stripe Bank Account. Importing in statements is only available for Current Account, Loan and Credit Card account type banks in Accounting.
