Increasing the number Characters in Notes

It’s currently possible to enter 255 characters, including spaces into the Notes section of Enter Payments. It’s not currently possible to increase this, however you can log this as a suggestion to improve our Sage 50cloud Payroll software.

Could the developers look into increasing the number of characters stored in the note field to over 10 thousand characters? 

It could also help if there is an error message when the maximum number of characters have been entered.

    Thanks for the suggestion. If possible, could you let me know what you are thinking of using the notes field for please which requires increasing the limit by that much? We could explore this, but interested to know what you're trying to achieve?
