Continuous employment date for employees that have been TUPE etc

It would be really helpful if there was an additional field in the employee record to record a continuous employment date for employees that have been TUPE'd or moved from one PAYE reference number to another within a group of companies.

I have requested this before but was advised that it is not a field that is required for payroll purposes. I do however wholly agree that there should be provision for this within the program, it's already in the P11D product so why not Payroll!

Thanks for the feedback. This is something that has been mentioned before.

In addition to the obvious benefits for statutory payment eligibility checks, is there anything else that having this additional field would benefit?
