Hi I spoke to your chat guy about this problem - see transcript of chat.....

Jeremy Curran: Is there a fix for this, as stated that you are working on, but
it's only been 4 years to resolve this issue. ask.sage.co.uk/.../a

Jeremy Curran: We've just had a member of our staff who processes
weekly payroll only be able to see the FPS submission for monthly paid!

Definitely not ideal.

Agent: I will have a look into this for you give me one moment

Agent: I have had a look into this for you and have spoken to our

escalations department. They have advised that they do not have a date for
this.
What they have asked is if you would be able to go onto the Sage Road
map. This is a section for customer to put on changes they would like or
error in the system.
When making changes to the program our developers will use this to help
them determine which errors are having the greatest impact on our
customers.

Jeremy Curran: Thats not really a great answer is it, they knew about this
problem 4 years ago and nothing has been done about it even though it's
clearly a breach of your security rules.

Agent: I apologise for this and that it is an ongoing issue, I will be getting
your feedback logged.

How can Sage allow this to continue when it clearly breaks the users permissions - all users be aware of this if it is important to you and comment on this post asking for it to be fixed. You can search the knowledge base for further details on article 30580 but it says this:

FPS incorrectly includes all pay frequencies

If you've created additional users within Sage 50 Payroll who only have access to a certain pay frequency, when you submit a full payment submission (FPS) all employees processed in that period are included, regardless of their pay frequency.

This is currently awaiting a fix and we'll update this article as more information becomes available.
