We're already working on your software update and support guides for payroll year end 2019.
You can prepare too by checking the following details:
Support with payroll year end
As you make submissions to HMRC every time you pay your employees, payroll year end is like any other pay period with a few preparation tasks and additional steps.
To help you prepare and process year end and to get ready for the new tax year, the Payroll Year End Centre has everything you need. It includes access to step by step support guides, quick videos and handy checklists, so you don't miss a step.
You also have quick access to Sage City, where you can see at a glance what people are asking us, as well as asking your own questions.
My Sage logon details
When the software update is available, we'll release it via an automatic update.
If you don't want to wait for the automatic update, when the software update is available you can manually download it from the Sage website. To do this you need a My Sage logon.
If you've logged into the Sage website before, then you already have a My Sage logon. If you need to reset your details, click Forgot your password?
If you don't have a My Sage logon, you should create one >
You can use your Sage logon to sign in to Sage City, where you can interact, share ideas, ask questions and impart knowledge and experience. Remember to add Sage City to your web browser "Favourites".
Sage Support newsletters
Watch out for your Sage 50cloud Payroll support newsletter that we send you every month by email, it includes useful information about processing payroll and the latest news on software updates and legislation changes.
If you don't receive our monthly support newsletter by email, this may be due to your marketing preferences.
Optimise your data
We recommend that you run this routine every time you open your company data and also before you install a software update. Read more >
To avoid having to correct errors at year end, it's important that you view and reconcile the figures that you send HMRC in your full payment submission (FPS) and employer payment summary (EPS) each period, and check this against your data in Sage 50cloud Payroll.
You can reconcile your HMRC values using the FPS viewer and some reconciliation reports, so you can be confident about what you submit each period. Find out more >
You must give a P60 to everyone who is working for you on 5 April 2019. If you intend to send paper copies to your employees and need P60 stationery, you can get ahead of the game and order them now >
You can also upload P60s using the Sage Online Service.
Sage 50cloud Payroll Advice Centre
Don't forget to check out the Advice Centre for useful support and information in the run up to payroll year end.
It opens up automatically when you first open your software. Or, in Sage 50cloud Payroll simply click View, then Advice Centre.
