I got a new activation key and tried to update my licenced version number, however it seems to have gone backwards, in the top left hand corner it now says v27.12.239.

the variant now says Sage 50 Payroll Professional v27, I'm sure it said v28 before.

Ah ok! Just to reassure first, with your installed version of v29.00.239 the legislation in your software is correct. This confirms your calculations are correct for this tax year and 2023/24.

The licenced version number is controlled by the serial number and activation key. There may be newer activation details that you should use to update this to v29.
