Sage 50 P11d v28

SUGGESTED

Is there any indication of likely release date for v28 for tax year 2022/23?
Would be handy to be able to crack on with the P11ds as soon as possible.

Many thanks.

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

The new release of P11D is in production, but there isn't a confirmed release date yet.

However, if you want to start processing, you can enter 2022/23 benefits information now in v27. If you enter details in v27 and date them correctly for the new year, you can then take a backup of your v27 data ready to set up your 22/23 benefits in v28.

When v28 becomes available, you can install it on your computer then restore your v27 backup in. You can then click the recalculate benefits option in v28. At that point v28 calculates the 22/23 benefits using the new legislation.

It seems to get later every year, only leaving practically 1 month to process the information correctly is madness anyway, let alone the fact that is now end of May before we get the update. Im a stand alone payroller so no one else can process this information for me, and you presume your leaving me enough time when you have no idea of people's work load !   it's very dissapointing indeed!

    Hi Kerrie,

Thanks for using Sage City, and thanks for the feedback.

I'm sorry the timings of P11D release are disappointing, I'm collating the feedback from this thread and passing it through to the P11D product team. thanks again for taking the time to feedback.

    Regards

This has been raised through different channels, but Sage do not appear to take this very seriously. After all, they have our money and it is of no concern to them if we find the delay stressful. Recommending we use an old version and then copy the data across is not a runner. I am surprised that they even recommended it. I will not be paying for the next release until it is, in fact, released!
