Sage HR v4 - installation of the HR service , on a new Server 2019, rollsback

The HR service fails to install and does a rollback.

the Sage.SBD.HR.Remoting.Server.HRService.InstallLog , shows it doing a roll back, has anyone been able to resolve this ?.

  • Hello Andrew,

    Thanks for your query.

The first thing I'd mention is, Sage 50 HR has not been Microsoft server 2019, the last fully tested and supported server operating system was Small Business server 2011.

Looking at the log above, there is no specific information as to why the service installation is falling and both services installs are being rolled back.

I would first recommend straightway would be to  temporarily disable any firewalls or anti virus software while attempting to install, if the issue continues I would have a look in the windows event logs, as they may provide more information as to what exactly is causing the services to fail when installing.

    Kind Regards

    Richard
