We as an employer have always distributed payslips by printing and posting them but want to move away from this to utilising the online Sage HR portal where employees can log in and see all their documents in one place.
A question has been raised surrounding GDPR, and whether we need to have written consent from employees which allows us to distribute pay documents in this way. I have tried looking online, and can't find a specific answer.
Do we need to send a permission form to all employees before we can do this?
