sage crashes when I change dates

Hi,

My sage is crashing at least once a day when I change dates (inputting invoices for the next day or recording customer receipts).

It works fine and then suddenly it decides it doesn't like this task anymore, so it crashes.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

    Hi Agata,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

    To resolve please check the following: 

    1. If you go into File > Maintenance > Check Data, are there any errors reported?
    2. If you go into File > Open > Open Demo Data > enter the username Manager with no password > the demonstration company will open. Are you able to change the date, or does the software close?

    Hi Agata,

    Yes I have the same problem with two of my clients' programmes. It is always when entering supplier invoices, it will accept the changed date for, say, 15 entries, and then it hangs and the only way to continue is to close down and re-start. VERY annoying.

    Unless I hear a suggestion from the forum, I will contact Sage when I have time to try and resolve it and if successful, I will let you know the answer.
