Back up issue - says not backing up but does seem to be

Hi all,

We're new to Sage and are still figuring everything out. We have set our back ups to take place every night at 10pm, and this does seem to be happening as there are files for each day at 10pm in the appropriate folder. However, when I click to exit Sage it brings up a message saying that a back up hasn't been taken for over a week, do I want to back up?

I've been saying yes and saving the file on my desktop just in case there is an issue with the automated back ups. Does anyone have any advice on whether to just ignore this message or how to get rid of it?

thanks.

    Hi Talia,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

This message appears if a manual backup hasn’t been taken for over a week.

This message doesn’t take automatic backups into consideration, therefore if you take automatic backups this message doesn’t mean they haven’t been successful. You should continue to take automatic backups if they work for you.

You can just select ‘No’ to this message as you have your automatic backups. Or, you can continue to take a manual backup each time this message appears, as an extra backup, if you wish.
