Issue restoring backup on Sage 50 Accounts.

SUGGESTED

I'm trying to restore from a backup but the backup that I took today is not on the previous backup list. Whilst the backups shown in the list appear to be located on my network drive, it's not showing all of the previous backups which I can see when I look at my network drive. There's no option to browse and select from where the list is located. I have auto back up to my C drive but can't see ho wto restore from that either. How can I add it to the backup list from my network drive? I did look to restore company as I can browse the location but this gives me an error 'You are currently accessing data using Sage Drive. The backup file selected cannot be restored because it is from a different company.' I hadn't experience Sage Drive until upgrading to the new version recently and I've tried to access Sage Drive without success

    Hi Nickie.

To restore data from a backup file go to File > Restore > click Browse. You will then be able to browse to your network location and locate your backup file. Highlight it > click Open > Ok > Yes.

If you use Sage Drive on your company, steps to resolve the error can be found here.
