Update on Sage 50c Data Service Compatibility with MS Server 2016 Essentials?

SUGGESTED

As a follow up to this query about Sage 50 data service compatibility with MS Server 2016 Essentials:

I posted these follow-up questions:
Hello,

Further to this thread regarding Sage 50c compatibility with Windows Server 2016 Essentials, we too are now having Essentials installed to host the Sage Data Service and our Sage data - based on the assurances previously referred to that the two were compatible.

As it is close to two months further on, can you confirm whether there has been, or are expected to be, any developments in resolving the problem that results in slow-running and hence data corruption?

Would you also confirm whether the "running particularly slowly" reported 23/10/17 is a Sage or Windows Server Essentials coding issue/snag?

I'm sure you would agree that incompatibility between two key products like Server 2016 Essentials and Sage 50c, both aimed fairly and squarely at SMEs is, to say the least, unsatisfactory.

Would you therefore confirm whether Sage Data Service will install on Server 2016 Essential and provide some guidance on how the "slow running" can be mitigated or prevented.

We moved our Sage data/service to a spare office PC following our upgrade to 50c and I wish to return it to the new server, which is protected by dual-redundant PSUs, full DR backup and fast recovery as soon as possible after our new Essentials server comes out of commissioning.
And not having that protection available for our Sage data for much longer leaves us with a level of exposure that makes me very nervous.

I hope you can help! Thanks

I would appreciate an update on the situation and answers to my specific questions
