T14 & T16 - Does 'No VAT charged' mean an exempt/outside the scope purchase, or just that the supplier hasn't mentioned VAT? So it could be applied to an item that is standard rated if purchased in the UK. Yes - exempt or outside scope of purchase. Generally if a supplier is not VAT registered you would use T0. You should only be using the Brexit Tax Codes under the rules mentioned in the webinar. Any items purchased in the UK which are standard rated should use T1. I'd always recommend using the Tax Code Checker to confirm. open the tax code checker >
