Question Answer
If I have a memorised journal do colleagues on other computers have access to my memorised journals in SAGE. We work remotely. The journal you create will be saved to the Journals folder at company data level so all users should be able to access.
SAGE doesn't let you use the import function if anyone else is logged in to SAGE. Is this right? Yes, this is an exclusive program request so all other users will need to be logged out. Open the file locking article >

If you were used Sage Payroll could you use the Nominal link to help with the transfer payroll costs to your Sage Accounts Project Module.   The payroll costs would have to be amended to include the cost to company.  I do this by importing at the moment but wondered if there was a more efficient method.  You can use the nominal link to transfer payroll Figures over  unfortunately as it posts journals these will not impact the projects module you would need to use project only transactions to reflect this on the project.
Can Sage be able to give a report (CSV/excel) of all journals posted (by username etc) in a period/month or within a date range. Our reports dont usually show users but on your transaction module you can apply a filter to only show JC and JD transactions AND within a certain date > then send to Excel along the top. Once in Excel you can then apply filters for specific users,You could also achieve this by amending the Day Books Nominal Ledger report (Nominal Reports) and adding the data field for AUDIT_SPLIT. USER_NAME to the report.
In the Journal templates, what are the differences between 'Account Reference' and 'Nominal A/C'? So the account reference would be the information for example in your Customer record under the column A/C and the nominal a/c would just be the nominal code itself. I have included the link for the import transactions webinar https://register.gotowebinar.com/recording/8870461112693377037 where they go into detail on the import templates.
