VAT Returns On Multiple PCs using SageDrive Not Mirrored

At the moment, the contents of the VAT components of Sage are not copied via SageDrive from PC to PC. A VAT return done on one machine cannot be re-opened and viewed on another. Can all the VAT data components be included in Sage Drive downloads so the VAT subsystem is replicated on every PC connected via Sage Drive?

As long as the XML file exists then a VAT Return will open. So if files are missing on some sites due to the historic bug they just need to be copied from where they are present to where they aren't. You'll find them this location C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\2021\Company.xxx\VATRtns

Thanks, Jamie. So I'm guessing that's in the current version. If there were historical .xml files recording old VAT returns, have those been updated/added/synched or are we starting from zero with the latest version of Sage?

This issue has now been resolved so VAT Return created now will always be fully available on all Sage Drive sites.

Historically there was an issue which meant VAT Return XML files (which are required for the drill down of data) were not always correctly synced via Sage Drive.
