Synchronisation of attachments

Now that Sage have improved the Remote Data Access service so that more users can work remotely, it would be very helpful if the attachments (Purchase invoices, Sales invoices et.) were also synchronised. When a client at the main site attaches a purchase invoice it would be vey helpful for this to be available at a remote site. Being able to access the attachment remotely will improve efficiency significantly. This might note necessarily have to be within the Sage data directory, but if there was a way for each site to point to a directory to store the attachments and this was via a cloud service such as DropBox or Egnyte, then this would also reduce the backup file size issues.

  • I see this post is over a year old and there does not seem to have been anything done to solve this problem. We store various files in customer and suppliers memo's and they are stored in the attachment folder of the company data. We also store our PDF bank statements in the nominal attachment. As the OP said, these are not synchronised with remote data services. It would be better for us (and probably most other users) if these files could be stored in cloud services (onedrive in our case).
