Sage are currently reviewing all of the ideas from our customers with the view to include those that have gained the most votes in a future release.
Unfortunately, since posting your wish it has not gained enough support from other members for it to be considered for inclusion in a future release.

If a price is edited in the sales order entry offer the option to save the price for future use.
This action should create a price group and apply it to this customer and this product.
This will have the knock on of creating lots of price groups but it will also make a way of remembering on the fly discounts provided to customers at order entry time.
