Hi all, I'm trying to submit my hubby's VAT return for (jul-end of sept) via making tax digital for the first time, I registered with HMRC some weeks ago, but when I try and submit from SAGE, it won't let me , just keeps saying unsuccessful. has also said VRN not verified? help, many thanks.

Hi Liz,

Thanks for using Sage City.

Can you provide a screenshot or the full wording of the error message you receive please, including any error codes, e.g. sgc1046, etc?

If you go into Settings > Company Preferences > VAT tab, is there a tick in the Enable Making Tax Digital for VAT submissions check box?

If you go into Help > About > what is the Variant showing as in the Licence Information section please?

Also, in Help > About what is the full Version Number showing as in the Program Details section please?
