MTD submission error

We filed our first VAT return under MTD successfully. This time we keep encountering error message: "an error has occurred with the submission service. try again later. no access". all possible solutions welcomed.

    Successfully submitted VAT returns for several companies last week but yesterday an error "An error has occurred when communicating with the submission server. An internal server error occurred." Please try later. Yes I did. Six times. Company registered for MTD, VAT reg no correct & MTD box ticked in company preferences. Last quarter's return went thru OK. Did result in a HMRC check. Just submitted another company's VAT return OK. All VAT returns went thru OK last week. Any answers?
