Cannot enter date properly

SOLVED

When I input the date (on supplier invoices, bank transactions, all screens) the screen flickers and "jumps" and then the date doesn't overtype the way it used to. Very hard to describe but I keep having to go back to the date, delete the current date and enter again. This has been happening over the last two weeks or so. Has anyone else had this problem or is it likely to be my PC?

    Thanks for using Sage City.

    I've checked with our support team and it's not an issue they've seen before. I suspect its to do with the PC. 

    To make sure it's not data related I'd suggest testing in Deomdata to see if the same issue occurs there, if it does it would suggest it's either the PC or the program. If you can then test the program on a different PC we'll know if it's the original PC that has the issue.

    I have checked in the demo data and it has the same issue, unfortunately I can't check on another PC as I don't have one available in the office.

    Any suggestions?

    One assumes it's not a Windows 11 pc as there are issues trying to run Sage on that?

    Hi Sarah,

    Further to Ken's post, are you using Windows 11.. and if so are you using v28 as that is the only version tested with Win 11? You can find your version number in Help > About.

    Yes Windows 11 and v28. The strange thing is that it was all fine up until a couple of weeks ago and as far as I know there have been no updates to either Windows or Sage.

    Could you record a video on your phone of the problem and upload it so we could see the issue?

    Here's a video of the issue (which actually isn't quite as bad today weirdly). The first bit shows when I tab over to the date then overtype. The second bit was trying to show the flickering but its not shown it very well.

    If you try a bank payment, is the date broken there too?

    and secondly, if you close the app and go straight back to journal entry, is it fixed?

    Yes the date is the same on all screens, bank, supplier invoice entry (which is where I notice it most probably because I'm entering alot of transactions at speed!). When I first started work today I thought it had stopped doing it, but then it seems to get worse the longer I'm logged in. I have just closed Sage, reopened it and it was fine for about the first ten transactions, then it started again.
