From Sage Accounts Backup Manager, select the Settings tab on the left navigation bar. In that tab there is a "Backup location" section. You can click on "Edit folder" which allows you to specify the location where automatic backups are created. Note that automatic backups are created on the data service machine. Thank you. I have looked at the solution and will confirm it as an answer. The fact that it did not provide the solution that I was seeking is actually contained in your answer.  I was trying to put the backups on a different machine. I tried a network drive but that did not work. I was trying to get away from having a dead machine with the backups locked in as well. I am going to go for a dedicated memory stick.
