Sage 50 Account Configuration file export to new computer

Question

Hi Support/Community Team, 
 We have sage 50 Account Data on the server and we want to replace new pcs from which sage 50 account installed and can access then all working fine. 
 Now we want to replace those pcs and installed Sage 50 account software. As it is a new installation, i am finding a way how to ship configuration file on old pc to new pc? 
 Because old pc have got many companies open and access. 
 It might take time if we have to open individual company from the server. 
 Hope my question make sense to you all.

If by configuration you mean the list of companies then you can simply copy the company file from the old PC to the new one. Simply copy the file "C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\XXXX\company" (where XXXX is the year relating to the version of Accounts you want to migrate) from the old PC to the same location on the new PC.

I'm not too familiar with Payroll I'm afraid. I know that it doesn't have a company file like Accounts does but I'm not sure where it stores company list data to be honest. Might be worth dropping a quick message over in the Payroll forum https://www.sagecity.com/gb/sage-50cloud-payroll-uk/ as I'm sure one of the experts over there will be able to advise.

 It is very helpful and saving a lot of time doing for 5 users. 
 And if you don't mind asking you will it be the same for Sage 50 Cloud Payroll as well.
