When you wish to reprint a Despatch Note from the Despatches tab of the Sales Order, you do not have the ability to select the report that is produced - it can only use the GDNPRNT.report file, this is hard coded in the system.

Obviously, and this is covered well in the Sage KB, you can create an alternate version of this report, and manually rename it to GDNPRNT.report do it used instead of the Sage standard one.

You can even semi-automate the use of alternate reports by using batch files to copy and rename alternate versions of GDNPRINT.

But wat would be great would be for Sage to PROMPT for the report to be used, like it does in every other area of the program.

Would others find this useful? I have a couple of customers who really want this.

I will add this to the new feature suggestions, although as it has been like this forever, I'm not sure it will be top of the list!
