Issue with Remote Access after update from Sage 50 V26.3 to 27.1

SUGGESTED

We use Sage Drive, I updated Sage 50 on the main pc today, after the update we had to close Sage a couple of times to allow the new version of Sage Drive (remote Access) to sync.

After the syncing took place I made sure that the message was showing on the bottom of the screen that 'remote access: online'  I also made sure that when I logged on to Sage the message showed in the middle of the log in screen that we were 'online -main'

I carried out the day's work then came home and updated my client manager software, I then logged into Accountant Dataset Manager and opened the relevant Sage Drive company in version 27.1 .

The data downloaded and updated, however despite the fact that the company shows as online -remote on ADM (copy below) and 'remote access: online' in Sage the work I carried out today on the main pc has not posted through.

I also have the error message below on Autoentry desktop sync for this company, the non-remote access companies which I have updated from version 26.3 to 27.1 all post fine through Autoentry and have no error messages.

I have another 3 companies on Sage Drive to update from 26.3 to 27.1 and they all need to be done this week.  Please advise if I should have removed the company from Sage Drive first before updating (not had to do so in past) or if there is another issue.

    Hi Pamela,

Thank you for using Sage City.

The data that you are logged into, is this your clients data? Do you know if they are having any issues on their side with the information?

Is it all transactions that aren't synchronising?

The best thing to check, if you go to Help > About - there will be a box in here for Remote Data Access, and a Dataset ID. Could you check to see if this ID is the same on the remote site and the main site. If the numbers match then they should both be looking at the same data, if they differ then they won't be.

I wouldn't expect you to have to disconnect then reconnect when upgrading - it should allow you to upgrade without issues.
