Can someone advise on this. I've made the journal entry table for a monthly salary.
In the Debit column I have Gross Wage / Employers NI / Employers Workplace Pension.
In the Credit column I have Net Wages / PAYE / Total NI / Total WPP .
The 2 columns do not match up.
The problem seems to be the Workplace Pension figure. If I swop the Employers contribution for the Employees contribution in the Debit column then it matches. I have double/treble checked these figures.
What am I doing wrong please?
