remove bank feed

Pre Covid I worked on site on clients computers - all single site 1 person (me) users Now working from home keeping things current. One client has the Bank Feed active - but never used. None of my other clients use this feature. But this means I cannot restore/upload back up files from any other clients on to my laptop. I get a message telling me this. Instead having to use a different laptop.

Is there a solution to deactivate this feature on the one account so I can work all my clients accounts through one laptop?

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

    A single-user/company licence would not cover restoring multiple companies into a single company copy of Sage 50 Accounts. You'd need a licence per company you work with.

    It may be worth giving us a call and we can discuss becoming an accountant with Sage and the advantages of using Sage 50 Accounts Client Manager to manage multiple company datasets.

    Each company does have a licence for Sage 50

    Does your licence cover you for multiple companies or a single company? 

    If your licence covers multiple companies it's just a case of going to File > New > Company and select the restore option to restore your clients backup.

    If your licence is a single company licence you would not be able to use the same copy of Sage 50 to restore multiple sets of data.
