Good Afternoon,
I'm having an issue with windows using up all of my bandwidth via the background intelligent transfer service.
At first I thought it was windows updates, but after having the issue all day (on a decent connection) and then noticing I had virtually run out of disk space when I had over 150GB free yesterday, I did some more digging.
Eventually, I tracked down the high disk usage to a 136GB folder here: C:\ProgramData\Sage\Shared\AutoUpdates\v2\sage.uk.sbd.accounts.line5027.0.469.0en-gb\Downloading
Looking at the timestamps, there are doxens if not hundreds of 252MB .tmp files in this folder, all created today (with at varying points in December).
I logged into Sage and it said my data was out of sync, so closed it and repaired. Then I could log in and it stated my version differed to the main site and forced me to update. Fine - but because the BITS service is using up all my bandwidth to download these files, Sage now doesn't have any bandwidth to download the update. It's been stuck on updating for over an hour now.
Does anybody know how to get the BITS service or Sage to stop downloading the .tmp files so I can actually update sage in the hopes that it corrects the issue.
Or does anybody know if the issue is something other than a difference in versions between the main site and this remote device?
Kind Regards,
Jason
