Grouping Report Sections

SUGGESTED

So this question is based on a report I've been working on for while and just can't crack.

I'm trying to create a report which is effectively a total requirement list for a Sales Order.  It needs to list the sales line items together at the top (effectively a list of each top line item on the order), and then below that I want all the sub-parts within their BOMs to be collated and listed with total quantities for that sales order.

For example, if one item is used once in two of the parts in the sales order then it would group them and say the total requirement is 2, and would do this for ALL the sub-items.

Can anyone help?

    Hi David,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

If you have a Sage Cover Premium support contract with us you get access to the Advanced Reports Library, there is a report in there under the sales order section titled “Picking List with BOM Details” this would give you what you need.

You can find the report library here

If you don’t have a Premium support contract with us you can upgrade to this or you can pay a one off fee to unlock the report. If you would prefer this option please use the link below to book a consultation with the team.

    Hi Sean,

    Thank you for your reply.

I guess I do have Sage Cover Premium support and do have access to the Advanced Reports, but that report is not quite what I need.

If I have Sage Cover Premium support, can I get phone or online support with my report without extra charges?

    Regards,
    David

    Hi David.

This isn't something we'd be able to do online or over the phone unfortunately. It would have to come in as a report design request.

If you would like to do this, send me a private message with your account details and also fill out the 'Book a consultation' form from the link above.

    Kind regards,
