Direct Bank Feeds - Natwest Bankline - Please Help

Hi. I hope someone can help.  We have sage 50cloud and have been trying for over a year to set up direct bank feeds from our Natwest BANKLINE account.  We want a direct feed rather than via a third party.  A couple of times we were told we needed to upgrade to the latest version of Sage 50cloud, then new ligislation came in which stopped the feeds until all banks were PSD compliant.  Now that they are we tried again last week and again we were told that, in order for it to work, we needed to upgrade to 26.3.  So again we went to the expense of upgrading our systems only to be told that it is no longer available for Natwest Bankline accounts, only for ordinary on-line current accounts.  Please can someone tell me what it is we are supposed to do?  I am trying to encourage accounts to be more efficient but keep hitting a brick wall.  Thank you.

    Looking in to that though, Natwest Bankline isn't supported unfortunately. However, this isn't to say that it won't be added at a future date. 

    At the moment, there isn't anything else you can do in order to integrate that and I understand that is frustrating when you're trying to streamline the way you work. However, we're always looking to improve our software and services and the integration with other software in order to improve the way our customers can work so hopefully it's something that we can add in future.

    I am very confused now!  I have just spoken with Natwest Bankline who say it is possible?  They have advised me to follow the below instructions?

    Go into;
    Administration > Manage roles.
    Click into the role account operator.
    Change the name of the role to Sage.
    Then using the drop down menu at the bottom can you change that from Administration to Third Party Provider Consents and click save & go.
    Then tick all privileges on this page, including the acknowledgement and press
    continue.
    Then tick accounts and continue again.
    Then confirm.
    Then apply this to yourself by going into;
    Administration > Manage Users > Click into your user ID> Scroll down to edit roles/smartcards > Tick the role Sage.
    Continue and confrim

    Just to update in case anyone is interested.  The instructions that Natwest Bankline gave us worked and we now have the direct feed.
