    Hi Teresa,

Thanks for you using Sage City.

This seems like a strange thing that is happening and it might be best you give us a call on 0191 479 5955 so we can troubleshoot further.

However, can you let us know if the same thing happens on another computer?

Does the same thing happen when using another user name?

If you go to file > open > open demo data > enter manager as the username and leave the password blank > ok. Once logged in, try the same thing in there and let me know if the same thing happens.

    Kind regards,

Thank you for answering sorry for the delay in coming back again, super busy with extra time taking on tasks due to the uninvited 8.  I am using a USB keyboard attached to the laptop which holds programme.

Our it went on remotely and happened using his keyboard.

I have tried several keyboards including the laptop

The 8 also happens in the demo data.

is it something to do with one of the F keys.?

Thank you in advance in saving my sanity

    Hi Teresa.

    Thanks for the additional information.

Go to help > about > under program details section, check the version number and make sure it's 26.3.245.0. If not, download and install the latest version from your My Sage Account or from www.sage.co.uk/au.

If you are on that version and demo data had the same issue, the next step would be to uninstall and reinstall Sage.
