Stuck in "reset password" loop trying to get SAGE Drive started.

SUGGESTED

Just installed SAGE 50 v 26.3, went to get Drive set up.

Add-ons -> Sage Drive -> Learn More -> Get Started -> SAGE ID signon -> Reset password <-

After entering ID and password, window switches to "To protect your account, you should change your password regualrly" and prompts for new password. Whatever I enter there, when I clock Continue it just refreshes the window to request password reset again. If I Cancel, window closes and I'm back at Get Started

I know my SAGE ID and password are correct because I can use them to sign on through a Web browser separately (and I sign off before going back to SAGE); the password reset prompt does actually change the password - I have been through multiple iterations of new passwords.

Anybody esle experienced similar behaviour please?

Looking forward to the fun of discussing with SAGE support after the weekend.

Thanks.

    The answer is stupidly obvious : there are secret rules for password format.

    When your new password does not satisfy those rules - which are secret - SAGE very reasonably just asks you to refresh your password again - without telling you that you have broken the secret rules, because what's the good of a secret if you tell everyone about it?

    For the record, something like : upper-case + lower-case + digit(s) + >= 8 characters (unofficial secret)

    Glad to see SAGE keeping down to its usual standards of logic and helpfulness.
