TB not in Balance when done month closing DEC 2019. The difference is 4.5 million
I thoroughly checked and gone through the previous years as the opening RE was also changed and found that there was a dividend paid for 4.5 million in the year 2017 which was debited in account no 321001 and was adjusted when closing the year 2017. Year 2018 was also fine with the balances as now in 2019 when the month end closing was done and when I took the financial statements suddenly the closing RE changed and added with this value of 4.5 million and the balance was not tallying. When checked back the DEC 17 TB is tallied but the opening TB for 2018 was not tallied since then this difference is showing I went and corrected the opening balance of RE but again this 4.5 million is moved to Equity and balance not tallied. Still showing this diff of 4.5 million. Month and year were closed the opening TB still show this diff. of 4.5 million in Credit side as equity. Need to resolve this.
