Nominal Record Activity Prior Year Transactions

I have recently run our company year-end without any obvious error.

However, why when selecting Prior Year from the drop down menu does it currently display transactions that were entered prior to the start of the financial year that I have just closed therefore providing me with an inaccurate brought forward figure?

Can I correct this by running the Clear Audit Trail option or by another means?

Can you provide us with further details of exactly where you're going in the program, what you're clicking on or running, what criteria you're selecting and what information you're looking at on the particular screen or report please and we'll be able to investigate further. If you can take a screen shot of what you're looking at and paste it in to your reply we should be able to provide further detail.

Thank you for your reply I have attached a screenshot. Our prior year commenced on 1 October 2018 but earlier posted transactions appear within the activity drill-down.

Hi Owen.

Thanks for the additional information.

Running the year end doesn't clear any actual transactions, it'll just post a ledger year end journal to clear the balance.

In that activity screen is there a 'Ledger Year End' JD or JC for 30/09/2019 ?

If you have telephone support it might be worth giving us a call so we can investigate in further detail.
