Report generation error in invoices

I have had the following error message when trying to run the @Sales by product (detailed)@ report in invoices on sage 50.......

"The report could not be generated. Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow."

Has anyone had this before and can anyone advise on why this error has occurred and what it means please? As I am trying to generate our month end report.

    Thanks for using Sage City.

    This issue appears to be caused by:

    • Corrupt searches or filters.
    • Searches or filters that have no effect.
    • Volume of data.

    To resolve this, try the following:

    • If a search or filter is applied which shows all records, discard it.
    • If a search or filter is applied that returns only some records, discard it then run the report again. If successful, recreate the search or filter.
    • If the data set is large and no search or filter is applied, apply one to reduce the data shown and run the report again.
    • Creating a new Sage Accounts user in Settings > Access Rights with full access rights.
    • Delete the contents of the temporary folder. To open the temporary folder, press and hold the Windows key and press R on your keyboard then enter %temp% then click Enter.
    • Delete the criteria files for the affected username.
