    Hi Sandra,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

Yes it’s straight forward to install Sage Accounts again on your upgraded computer. For detailed help to download and install Sage Accounts, you can refer to this guide.

Once you’ve downloaded and installed the software, the first time you open Sage Accounts on your upgraded computer, you can restore your backup as part of the ActiveSetup Wizard. To do this:

    1. Open Sage Accounts, enter your serial number and activation key, click Continue then click OK. If required, you can check your activation key in the My Sage Registration Centre.
    2. In the ActiveSetup Wizard click Restore data from a backup file.
    3. Click Browse, locate and select your backup, click Open then click Next.
    4. Click Restore.

If the data you have restored is from an earlier version, this is detected by Sage Accounts and you are prompted to convert it before proceeding.

Once you've successfully restored your data files you should now run the Check Data option.

    Regards,

    Paul
