Bank feed no longer working

Bank feed is not connecting and not importing transactions.  The error message detail says "The remote name could not be resolved: "bkf.sage.co.uk".

I have Sage50c  which updates automatically.  My bank is LLoyds and I have a business current account which is showing as being PSD2 compliant.

Has anyone else had this problem and if yes, how did you resolve it?

    Hi Lisa,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

    You can fix this by going to Bank > Select the bank with the problem > Select Edit and press Disable to remove the old bank feed.

    Once you've done this select your bank account from the list and press the bank feeds button to on board again and become PSD2 compliant.

    Thank you for your reply Ian.

    When I try to set up a new bank feed, I enter my bank details and when I try to proceed I get an error message. The same connection problem that I had before. It suggest that the Sage site address bkf.sage.co.uk is unavailable. This could be because it is temporarily out of action, which would cause problems for other users also, or it could be that the address has been changed and that for some reason I am not being directed to the correct address.

    I could be barking up the wrong tree with that theory, but if you have come across anything like this before, your advice would be much appreciated.

    I have also had this problem and error message and a recent email from Sage said I had to update to Sage v26. However I find that when I download the update I cannot install it. It just asks me how I want to pen the file!

    Please can anyone advise what steps I should take

    I didn't have a problem downloading or installing v26 earlier today, so can't help there I'm afraid. It's just the connection problem that I have.

    Hi Lisa,

    If you're getting the error message regard bkf.sage.co.uk is unavailable this would suggest that you're connecting via the old Yodlee Bank Feeds (which has been switched off) rather than Direct Bank Feeds.

    Can you confirm your tile in the top left hand corner of Sage 50 says "Sage 50cloud"? (Similar to image below)

    And that you're getting the Bank Feeds window i'm getting in the image below?

    Hi Ian

    At the top left hand corner it says Sage 50cloud Accounts Essentials.

    When I select Bank Feeds, I don't get the window you have made a screen shot of, I get this one:

    I agree that it does look like it's something to do with being directed to the old system, I'm just not sure why that is or how to fix it.

    Bank feeds have already been disabled:

    Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

    Hi Lisa,

    That all looks correct, once you've selected Lloyds and pressed Next i would expect you to be asked for your account / sort code and then a final confirmation page.

    At what point do you get the error message? Can you screen shot that for us?

    When I select Lloyds I get the screen asking me for my bank details, which I then enter. When I select "process" I am now seeing this message:

    I don't have phone support, just online and I have already had webchat with support. I will follow your advice and try them again.

    Hi Lisa,

    This error could mean couple of different things, webchat is the best option as they'll need to check the bank details you're entering.

    I suspect you may already be registered for the service and we'll need to delete you and add you again.

    I have the same issue when trying to get bank feeds (disabled each of my 3 bank accounts per sage telephone instruction)  - The remote name could not be resolved: 'bkf.sage.co.uk' - I note you sais something about connecting re the old yodlee feed? I was advised on the phone that this was not a sage issue and to do with my internet connection (working fine - I have sage 50 professional and use the cloud). Can you advise me any further? Everything was dfine until thursday/friday last week.
