I have recently tried a number of times to submit my vat return online, phoned HMRC a few times , finally narrowed it down to my settings in sage, basically sage is trying to send it to HMRC old system. having been guided through what to do by HMRC
Go to setting, change company preferences, pop in password then basically the make tax digital box must be ticked, mine was not, but once ticked I can not click okay to save as its to far down the page and when I click and hold to move the box up it wont stay there ( so I can see ok but as soon as I let go of the mouse it drops back down )
Any help would be great
Thanks for using Sage City.
You'll need to change the resoltuon of your screen to allow you to see the OK button. You can do this by following this guide. https://ask.sage.co.uk/scripts/ask.cfg/php.exe/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=44909&p_pv=1.1
Or you could temporarily move the Windows Task bar out the way. This is fixed in v26.
Thanks for your quick responce, I have tried the fiorst 2 options and it has not done the job, could you tell me how to temporarily move the task bar ??
We don't have a Sage article on this but Microsoft do, you can find it here https://support.microsoft.com/hr-ba/help/253679
