Looking for new accounting software - advice

I'm hoping the community here can help to advise on the best Sage product to use. We already have Sage Payroll and I'm wondering if Sage 50 Professional Cloud is likely to be a suitable product. Just looking for a steer at this stage.

We are a property company with turnover of circa £9m.

We are outsourcing all of our invoicing and collections processes to a third party.

I am looking for an accounting system for circa 6 users to:

  • Import summarised data once a month from the outsourced provider into the GL only, being property invoicing and costs and associated receipts and payments. (via Excel probably)
  • Connect to our bank accounts and import transactions
  • Cashbooks and cashbook reporting
  • Deal with multiple companies (circa 30) (any inter entity auto posting would be beneficial but not crucial)
  • Accounts Payable and limited Accounts Receivable
  • Single GBP currency
  • Budgeting
  • Cost centre structure to enable slice and dice reporting
  • customisable reporting either built in or exporting data to Excel
  • MTD VAT reporting with VAT groups

Nice to haves:

  • Consolidation functionality
  • Statutory Account production

Don't need:

  • Client / debt / CRM functionality
  • HR / People functionality (apart from payroll)
  • Wider ERP solution
